Sometimes your firm’s greatest wins occur off the court rather than on it. #TeamTriad is proud of the daily wins we get on behalf of our clients by elevating their voices to decisionmakers to achieve their goals. But, we also take pride in elevating the voices of our partners who depend on us.
We believe our community is important. Everyone at Triad understands the importance of giving back. This applies to both the company and individuals.
Last Thursday night was one of those instances. Seven #TeamTriad members, along with their loved ones and pets, participated in the AHA Capital Region Heart Walk. With funds still coming in, the event has raised more than $72,000 to date. Triad helped raise a little over $2,000 in support of this year’s event.
Brandi Hunter-Davenport, Megan Dapp, Savannah Beeler, Olivia Edwards Rindfuss, Jan Webb, Sakura Ung, and Charles Oberdick walked for Triad. They were joined by Layla Davenport, Cassidy Webb, Nick Martin, and Lola the Shichon. While Coach Brandi was injured and technically couldn’t walk, the team made sure she wasn’t left behind. (Take a look at this reel Megan put together of the event.)
Heart disease is the top cause of death in the US, followed by strokes. This information is from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The AHA wants to eliminate heart disease and stroke. They have spent over $5 billion on research, making them the second largest funder after the government.
