Harrisburg – Triad Strategies is pleased to announce that seasoned strategist, Cody Jones, is now a member of the team.

With 15 years of experience in government affairs, political strategy, and public policy, Cody is excited to bring his talents to the bi-partisan public relations firm as the Vice President of Government Affairs.

“I have spent my career at the intersection of politics, policy, and advocacy, and Triad is where that kind of experience gets put to work at the highest level,” said Cody. “I am thrilled to join a team that has earned the trust of clients across virtually every major policy arena. “

Cody’s career has taken him from managing statewide political campaigns to overhauling how the public university system engages with the legislature.

“Cody’s experience in health care and higher education will be an asset to Triad’s clients,” said Mike Manzo, Executive Vice President. “He’s able to assess any situation and help all parties navigate the complexities, creating win-win solutions for everyone. Knowing the importance of partnerships and collaboration, he will undoubtedly help our clients achieve their objectives. We are glad to have him as a part of the team.”

Before joining Triad, Cody served as Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Pennsylvania Homecare Association, where he led state and federal Medicaid advocacy on behalf of more than 700 home care, home health, and hospice providers. He built the organization’s grassroots infrastructure from the ground up, managed its political giving program, and became a go-to voice on long-term care policy in Harrisburg.

Prior to that, Cody served as Chief Strategic Relations Officer for Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, where he was the chief architect of the most significant higher education reform legislation in nearly four decades. He managed government relations and communications efforts across 14 universities and through more than 60 government affairs and communications professionals, helped restore the System’s relationship with the General Assembly, and secured more than $175 million in one-time funds and nearly $100 million in new recurring state funding.

Earlier in his career, Cody managed and advised political campaigns at every level, including races for Congress, U.S. Senate, Governor, and Attorney General, He also worked for the President of the Kentucky Senate and then West Virginia’s Attorney General.  

Cody is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, and lives in Harrisburg with his family.
