[Harrisburg, PA] — Triad Strategies, a leading government affairs and strategic consulting firm, today announced that Bill Trusky has joined the firm as Vice President for Labor and Workforce.
Trusky brings more than three decades of experience in Pennsylvania state government, including service in some of the commonwealth’s most senior labor and workforce policy leadership roles. Throughout his distinguished public service career, he helped shape policies affecting employers, employees, and workforce systems across Pennsylvania.
Most recently, Trusky served as Executive Deputy Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, where he oversaw agency operations and helped guide strategic policy initiatives for five years. His extensive experience also includes serving as Deputy Secretary for Unemployment Compensation Programs, two appointments as Legislative Director for the Department of Labor & Industry under separate gubernatorial administrations, and a decade of service with the Pennsylvania House Labor Committee.
“Bill’s depth of knowledge, leadership experience, and understanding of Pennsylvania’s labor and workforce landscape will be an incredible asset to our clients,” said Mike Manzo, Triad’s Executive Vice President. “His ability to navigate complex policy issues and his longstanding relationships throughout state government will strengthen our ability to deliver results for organizations across the Commonwealth.”
“Bill’s decision to join Triad reflects both the strength of our team and our continued commitment to providing clients with unparalleled expertise,” said Roy Wells, Triad’s President & Managing Partner. “As Pennsylvania competes for new manufacturing investment and employers across the Commonwealth look to expand, workforce capacity has become an increasingly important economic development issue. Organizations need advisors who understand not only labor and workforce policy, but how government decisions affect business investment, community growth, and Pennsylvania’s ability to compete. Bill’s experience and leadership make him an outstanding addition to our firm.”
In his new role, Trusky will advise clients on labor and workforce policy, regulatory affairs, legislative strategy, and government relations, as well as workforce issues affecting business expansion, manufacturing investment, and economic development across Pennsylvania.
“Pennsylvania has tremendous opportunities for economic and manufacturing growth, but workforce readiness will play a major role in determining where those investments happen,” said Trusky. “Having spent my career at the intersection of government, employers, workers, and workforce development, I’m excited to bring that experience to Triad and help clients navigate the policy and workforce challenges that increasingly influence investment, expansion, and growth.”
Trusky resides in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their two pugs, Rory and Phil. An avid golfer, he enjoys spending time on the course whenever possible.
