I am excited to be joining Triad Strategies as an Intern this summer! I have just wrapped up my third year of college, I attend the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. I am getting a Scottish Masters in Politics and International Relations. Currently, I am working on my dissertation, which focuses on PA State Politics and campaign rhetoric. While I adore living in Scotland, I miss the hot dogs with sauerkraut that PA does better than anywhere else.
I was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, PA, so I have lived in the Capital area my whole life. I attended Mechanicsburg Senior High School and graduated in 2021. In 2022, I started officially working in politics but have been involved since joining my high school’s March for Our Lives club in 2018.
In my free time, I love to run and perform music, occasionally at the same time. I am an avid runner and often participate in 5ks up and down the East Coast. I am also a member of two bands, one local country and one rock band. In Scotland, I am a part of a Nordic choir ensemble as well as a member of the Pickleball Club at my university. During college, I’ve enjoyed my classes thoroughly, particularly Russian Foreign Policy and Public International Law. I am excited to bring my university experience to my work with Triad.
The opportunity to work at Triad is one I am incredibly grateful for. I am excited to participate in the Team! I am already impressed by Triad’s level of respect and support. I can’t wait to learn from each member of the Team; This opportunity is going to prepare me well for the future. I hope to gain as much insight as possible and have fun! I cannot thank Triad enough for the opportunity to grow. A huge thank you to everyone, but especially Brit Crampsie (a Triad alum) for her support.
