Last week, we had the opportunity to sit down (virtually) with the newly elected House Majority Whip, Donna Oberlander (R-63). Recently, Representative Oberlander made history by earning the title of the first female Republican Whip in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Prior to this role, Representative Oberlander held several leadership positions over the last 12 years.

In the interview below with own Olivia Edwards, Representative Oberlander shares her insight into the upcoming fall session including recovery efforts from COVID-19 and its impact on the state budget, what she wants to achieve from her new position, and advice for the next generation female leaders.

Thank you Representative Oberlander for taking the time to speak with us and provide an update from Harrisburg. Triad wishes you the best of luck in your new role as House Majority Whip and we look forward to working with you!
