For those who’ve been following our company journey over the past year and a half, you know that we’ve focused internally on The Triad Way which is comprised of 30 fundamental behaviors that describe how we work with our clients, strategic partners, community partners, public officials and most importantly, each other. Each week is dedicated to one fundamental, and this week couldn’t be more fitting because it’s Treat Each Other Like Family.

During the past several week’s we’ve highlighted firm accomplishments during the state budget on behalf of our great clients, but today we celebrate a huge personal win for the Brysiak Family. Todd Brysiak and his wife, Angela, have been fierce advocates for childhood cancer research dollars since their daughter Ashlyn was diagnosed with leukemia several years ago. Thankfully, she is now three years cancer free, but they continue to fight on behalf of families affected by childhood cancer. They are active with Four Diamonds – both speaking at events and raising funds – and are constantly elevating the voices of childhood cancer patients every chance they get.

In this year’s state budget, Pennsylvania lawmakers answered the call and set aside more than $9 million in new funds to support childhood cancer research. Since today marks the start of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we didn’t believe there was anything more fitting to celebrate than this. We have no doubt that those funds will be put to good use for some very special kids.
