Lauren Gutshall brings a more than decade of Harrisburg experience to Triad Strategies. After graduating from college, she worked for six years for the House of Representatives. During her tenure, she worked for the Speaker of the House and developed legislative initiatives for the Policy Committee.

In 2009, she took her talents to the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties where she honed her lobbying and communications skills. Her advocacy experience covers a variety of higher education issues from pension reform to budgetary concerns. As Director of Communications, she created and executed public relations strategy plans and actively engaged the organization in social media outreach. She was the chief spokesperson for the faculty organization during long and contentious contract negotiations.

Lauren’s experience has helped her cultivate relationships with legislators on both sides of the aisle and with reporters across the state.

Lauren graduated from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication. A resident of midtown Harrisburg, you can often find her wandering the stacks of the Midtown scholar, catching a movie at the cinema, or drinking craft beer at a local pub. She loves to travel and enjoys new culinary adventures. She has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and is currently studying for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) award in wine and spirits. You can follow her on twitter @LaurenGutshall.
