Where public policy and public relations merge, that’s where you will find Doug Rohanna.
Triad recognizes the importance of melding lobbying, strategic communications and business consulting together in order to effectively influence public policy. Indeed, while one may have a great idea, absent the right relationships , the idea may falter. Triad excels at establishing a clear message for a great idea, and presenting the idea to the right people . Clarity of messaging, coupled with the right contacts increase the odds of a great idea becoming successful.
This is where Doug proves invaluable to Triad and its clients. He understands and has successfully developed public affairs campaigns to advance or thwart proposed legislation or regulations. Doug has an innate ability to identify the right tact to navigate the political landscape in order to deliver a robust and successful public affairs campaign, which amplifies, rather than distracts from a client’s government relations, public relations, marketing, and stakeholder communications efforts.
In his more than 20 years of public policy experience serving in a wide variety of roles in the Legislative and Executive branches of government, as well as the private sector, Doug has established and maintained an impeccable reputation which has earned the respect of Leaders from both political parties. Doug has achieved his success in cultivating such relationships while serving as Director of Communications for Governor Edward G. Rendell, as Deputy State Treasurer, as Chief of Staff to the Pennsylvania House Minority Leader, and as Vice President of Government Relations for a Harrisburg public affairs firm.
He has successfully managed public affairs campaigns and advocated for clients, both corporate and non-profits, at the local, state, and federal levels. And has demonstrated an ability to build expertise in new areas, develop and maintain relationships with individuals and groups, and build consensus among those with diverse interests.
When you are facing a challenge that you aren’t sure how to overcome, we invite you to throw it to Doug, and have him assist you in preparing a strategy to meet both your short and long-term goals.
