Fearless yet armed with a smile, Alexandra D’Angola is a force to be reckoned with both inside and outside the walls of the state capitol.
Alex comes to Triad Strategies after a successful stint as Director of Governmental Affairs for the Pennsylvania Retailers Association, one of the largest and most successful trade organizations in the state. Managing the legislative and communications needs of an organization as diverse as the PA Retailers made her a natural fit for Triad Strategies, where she represents clients on economic development, entertainment, energy, education and health care issues, all in the same day and all without breaking stride.
Whether client needs dictate a last minute amendment to a bill or developing a long-term legislative strategy, Alex can make it happen. She lends considerable expertise to navigating the maze of economic development programs from a myriad of state funding sources as well as strategizing advantageous partnerships between her clients and the Commonwealth. From political messaging to event planning to traditional one-on-one advocacy, Alex knows the engine of state government like the back of her hand.
In her previous life, Alex also spent time with the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission, and the Lancaster County GOP.
Alex graduated cum laude from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Among her honors along the way, she was a Provost Scholar, a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, Political Science Honor Society, a Finnegan Fellowship Winner and was Distinguished Student of the Year.
Alex resides in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, enjoys yoga, and prefers her coffee black and wine dry. Follow her on Twitter @adangola087.
